Washington Amateur Communications

WACOM Logo Washington Amateur Communications is a non-profit organization (501-C3) serving ham radio enthusiasts, charity events, and communities in and around Washington County, Pennsylvania.

We have been affiliated with the ARRL for almost 50 years and have earned the designation of Special Service Club since 2009.

Our club call sign is WA3COM.

WACOM and its members assist in providing communications and promotion for several public service/safety events throughout the year, including the following:

  • Labor Day Run (Washington)
  • Run For Alex (Bentleyville)
  • Rabid Raccoon 100 (Raccoon Creek State Park)
  • SET (Simulated Emergency Test)
  • Field Day
  • Winter Field Day
  • Whiskey Rebellion Special Event Station (W3R)
